LIBRARY
BECOMES "FAMILY SEARCH
CENTER"
FOR GENEALOGICAL INFO
Access to family history information from the Genealogical Society of
Utah will be easier for Danville area researchers, now that the Danville
Public Library has signed an agreement to serve as a “FamilySearch
Center.” With this designation, the library will be able to
obtain, through interlibrary loan, copies of FamilySearch records
requested by library patrons, to be used in the library.
As specified in the agreement, the library will charge the required
fee of $5.50 per microfilm roll and $0.15 per microfiche card for a
30-day loan period. The loan period may be renewed twice at $5.50
per loan period.
All orders will be handled by the Reference and Archives Department ,
located on the second floor of the library. Our staff is very
knowledgeable about searching techniques and may also be able to suggest
other resources to enhance your research. |
